The Bulldogs and the Walnut Mustangs came into last Friday Nights Game both needing a win after dropping their first league game. The Bulldogs asserted their superiority quickly and jumped out to a 17-0 lead and never looked back on their way to a 31-11 Homecoming victory.
Another big game awaits the Bulldogs this Friday as they travel to take on the Rowland Raiders. The winner of this game will most likely secure a 2nd seed San Antonio League playoff spot (barring an unforeseen loss to Nogales, of course). The Bulldogs are also looking to avenge a loss at home to the Raiders last year.
Manuel is this you? hope all is well and in case you didn’t notice the time of posting is way off, my last post was around 9:30 pm, not 4:31 am, as with most people I’m sleeping at that time. The time of this post is at 9:37 pm on 10/28/09
Good luck Bulldogs!
This is another crucial game, Rowland is athletic and fast and will be more physical than Walnut.
Its time for each and every one of you to step up
the intensity level because crunch time is here!
Each man must do his part as best he can, 100% every play. Know your position and know your opponent and execute proper technique. It takes physical ability but more importantly its in
the head. Be mentally prepared, play with intensity and play with passion and play with control, stay at home in your position, read and react quickly, most of all give it your all and do it for your brother who plays and practices besides you, because you know he will give his 100% for you!
Good luck Bulldogs, be united, all on one front with the common goal of striving for excellence.
Hello Dan,
I believe the comment time is fixed now. I agree that it time to step up and show what you have. There is no reason for anything other than a solid performance from the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs have a revenge factor going for them, a strong chance for at least a second seeding in the San Antonio League, and they are not playing on natural grass.
